Ola Dada

Ola Dada’s start in comedy wasn’t intentional. His first performance was completely off the cuff; he got on stage at a comedy club to try to make his friends in the audience laugh. He has since made a name for himself in the Vancouver comedy scene, regularly appearing at Just For Laughs festivals in Vancouver, Montreal, and Toronto.

Ola first garnered success as a runner-up in the 10th annual Canada-wide SiriusXM Top Comic Competition (2019). He was later featured on CBC’s The New Wave of Stand Up (Season 1, 2020), and has most recently appeared on City TV’s Canada’s Got Talent (2022). Check out his recent comedy taping on CraveTv Just for laughs Gala with  Patton Oswalt (2023). His debut comedy album, titled “DADA PLAN” (2022) with 604 Records was also a hit. When he isn’t appearing on TV or promoting his own Blackout Comedy series, Ola flexes his creativity by creating sketches for his social media platforms (@showtime.dada).

Syd Bosel

Syd Bosel is a stand-up comic and comedic Storyteller She spills your life out onto the stage, as she shares her tales of “adult” children, surviving breast cancer, being married for 1,000 years, and other glories of nature.  Her favourite review; “That older lady was really funny”  Syd can be heard on CBC’s “Just for Laughs” and “Laugh Out Loud”  She’s a regular with the “Jest Ladies” and “Life is Funny (Still)” troupes. She has toured with “I am Woman Hear Me Laff”. She headlined for the “Hot Flash Comedy” show at the Mary Winspear theatre in Sidney, in celebration of International Women’s Day.  Syd placed first and was voted Fan Favourite, in the 2018 “BC’s Funniest New Female Comic”, was a finalist in the 2019 “Great Canadian Yuk Off” and 2nd (out of 65 comics) in the “Funniest Person with a Day Job” Competitions.

Dan Duvall

Dan Duvall is a Victoria/Vancouver based comedian who has performed across Canada and the US including JFL Northwest. He has opened for Shawn Majumder, Brent Butt, Bruce McCulloch and more. He is also the subject of the CraveTV documentary Funny Tweets! Dan has been a professional comedy writer for the better part of a decade with his work appearing on Cartoon Network Canada and Adult Swim.
