Nash Park

Nash Park is an up-and-coming stand-up comedian born in the small town in northern BC. After high school Nash moved to Victoria BC and spent years chasing creative projects until he discovered his love for stand-up comedy. After just one taste, he was completely hooked. Since then Nash has been regularly performing his high-energy, hard-hitting stand-up to crowds all throughout BC. Nash is also behind OK, DOPE, a comedy collective that creates and produces live shows, podcasts, and comedic content. OK,DOPE’s flagship production is The Late Night Show with Nash Park, a live monthly show that combines stand-up, improv, and sketch all within the structure of a classic late night talk show. Off stage you can hear him as one half of the OK, DOPE Podcast.

Emily Woods

Spending the last five years between Kelowna, Victoria, and the UK, Emily has established herself as a stellar new comedian quickly rising up in these scenes. Her hour long solo show was set to debut in a prime slot at the 2020 Edinburgh fringe festival, but sadly the pandemic ruined those plans. New to Victoria Emily quickly dove right back into comedy; performing all over the city and Vancouver, as well as running her own comedy course for aspiring femme and non-binary comedians. Now an event producer for the Victoria Event Centre Emily runs her own regularly sold out show at the VEC showcasing drag, burlesque, music, and comedy acts called Frantic Friday. Emily regularly hosts and performs at other shows around Victoria and Vancouver. 2018 Leicester Square new act of the year semi-finalist 2019 Max Turner Award Finalist 2019 Up The Creek One to Watch finalist 2019 99Club bursary for top female and non-binary comedians of London “A striking take and a gift for finding the funny side of everything, including taking anti-depressants.” -Bruce Desseau “She’s forever beaming with a jolly smile, even while excoriating herself over her looks or lack of self-respect, or being brashly honest about life... there’s something refreshingly engaging about her quirky presence.” -Steve Bennett

Alexandra Forman

Alexandra realized she wanted to be a performer from a young age. She loved singing, acting and dancing and while attending the Canadian College of Performing Arts 15 years ago, she discovered her passion and obsession for improvised comedy. She continued to train and perform with some of the best improv companies Canada has to offer, including Second City Toronto, Calgary’s Loose Moose where she won an international comedy competition, Vancouver Theatre Sports League, Vancouver’s Urban Well Improv, First Time Last and recently with Victoria’s famous Paper Street Theatre. Alexandra was a cast member in the monthly comedy panel show The Mash, and a regular cast member on the local tv show, Girls on Grapes. She is currently studying with Upright Citizens Brigade. Alexandra is a co-creator of the Victoria local improv/sketch comedy group called Entertainment Village which performs monthly sold out improv/stand up shows.

Alistair Ogden

One of Canada's rising young comedic talents, Alistair's blend of clever wit and self-deprecating silliness first brought him to prominence when he won CBC's Next Up Competition in 2019. He's since taped a televised set at the Halifax Comedy Festival, appeared at Toronto SketchFest, had his show Comedy Pants featured as part of the Just For Laughs Vancouver festival, and regularly performs at comedy clubs across Canada.

The Mini Choir

The Mini Choir is part of Director Marc Jenkins' larger local choir umbrella, The Choirs YYJ, a large, non-auditioned community choirs that sing fun and original arrangements of indie, pop and folk songs. The Mini Choir is made up of a dozen of the larger choirs current singers to form a special, auditioned ensemble – the Mini-Choir

In addition to hosting two annual concerts The Choirs are regular guest artists at performances on Vancouver Island, including: Rifflandia (2014-2022), Islands Folk Festival, and Campbell Bay Music Festival.

Their singers have shared the stage with Kirsten Ludwig, Half Moon Shine, Fox Glove, Vox Humana Chamber Choir, Kathryn Calder, Pharis and Jason Romero, Choir!Choir Choir!, Aidan Knight and more cool artists.
